Silver Jews - People

On my recent mix, Belmar, I included a track by Silver Jews. It's the oldest song on the mix (1998), but it's gotten a huge response from, well, People. People love this track. Here's a sample of the lyrics:

"I love to see a rainbow from a garden hose
lit up like the blood of a centerfold
I love the city and the city rain,
suburban kids with biblical names.

People ask people to watch their scotch.
People send people up to the moon.
When they return, well there isn't much.
People be careful not to crest too soon. "

You can read the rest of the lyrics here.

They're going to be performing in Tel Aviv on July 10-11. (The shows are sold out!)
